What a piece is made of, in plain terms. Every swatch below is a tone from the pieces on our floor — follow any of them into the collections.
Linen
Washed linen blends — cool to sit on, softens with use.
Bouclé
Looped wool-blend pile. Forgiving of daily use; not of claws.
Velvet
Short-pile cotton velvet. Deep colour, marks that brush out.
Leather
Full-grain, aniline-dyed. Scars and darkens honestly.
Walnut
Kiln-dried American walnut, oil finish.
Oak
Oak, solid and veneer, matte lacquer or oil.
Ash
Pale, straight-grained, steam-bent where curved.
Care, honestly.
None of these materials asks for much — just the same few habits.
- Keep timber out of direct sun and away from air-conditioning drafts; wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth, nothing stronger.
- Vacuum upholstery gently and often. Blot spills straight away — never rub.
- Leather wants distance from heat and a dry cloth. It will darken and mark with use; that’s the material, not a fault.
