Solidhouse Builders and Construction Inc., doing business as “Viro Living” (“Viro Designs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a curated furniture retailer organised and existing under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We operate this website, our showroom, and the enquiry, appointment, and newsletter channels connected to them (together, the “Services”).

For the personal information we process through the Services, we are the Personal Information Controller under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (“NPC”).

This policy covers personal information we process when you:

• book a showroom visit or design appointment;

This site has no customer accounts and no online checkout — purchases are concluded in person or by written confirmation, and any sale is documented separately. This policy does not cover third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

We collect only the personal information we need for the purposes described in this policy:

• Contact and enquiry data — your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your messages to us, including quotation requests and appointment bookings.
• Mailing-list data — the email address you ask us to add. Our list is kept by hand; you are added only when you ask and removed whenever you ask.
• Delivery details — where you ask us to quote or arrange delivery: recipient name, contact number, and delivery address, including building access details you choose to give us.
• Technical log data — our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site — see our Cookie Policy.

Payments. We do not take payment through this website and do not collect card details online.

Sensitive information and children. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information; please do not send us such information unless we specifically request it. The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use your personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and prepare the quotations you request;
• schedule and manage showroom visits and design appointments;
• arrange delivery and assembly where you ask us to;
• send our occasional newsletter where you have asked for it, which you may stop at any time;
• operate, secure, and maintain the Services, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and

Under Sections 12 and 13 of the Data Privacy Act, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:

• Taking steps at your request before a contract — answering enquiries, preparing quotations, and arranging appointments and deliveries you ask for;
• Consent — for the newsletter, which you may withdraw at any time;
• Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements connected to sales concluded with you; and
• Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Services and run our business, balanced against your rights and freedoms.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only to the extent necessary:

• Website hosting and content delivery — to serve this site and keep it available and secure;
• Email providers — to receive and answer your messages; and
• Delivery partners — the details needed to deliver and assemble the pieces you order.

Some of our service providers (for example, website hosting and email) may be located outside the Philippines. Where personal information is transferred abroad, we remain accountable for its protection and put appropriate safeguards in place, consistent with the Data Privacy Act and NPC guidance.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which we securely delete or anonymise it. Our indicative retention periods are:

• Enquiries and correspondence — up to twenty-four (24) months after our last exchange;
• Mailing list — until you ask to be removed;
• Records connected to a concluded sale — as required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and applicable accounting rules; and
• Server logs — for the short rolling period our hosting provider retains them.

We apply organisational, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit, access to correspondence limited to the staff who need it, and the use of reputable hosting and email providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the law, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to rectify, to erase or block, to data portability, to be indemnified for damage caused by unlawful processing, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
